Maybe you are backpacking Melbourne like me and need to do things on a budget, because Australia is super expencive, this blogpost is the right for you!
On Fed Square is a fantastic museum about video and photographics. I would totally recommend…We loved it, and even if you dont like it, give it a try and if it is nothing for you…just leave…it is for free. 😉 For nerds lkke me it is perfect. Right now there are even the originall movie costumes from Thor love amd thunder.
Also near fed sqzare are lanes with a lot street art from so many talented people. Just to name a few of them are acdc lane…
But just in generell in the complete city are many graffitis and beautiful pantings.
The royal botnaical garden in Melbourne is free and is totally worth a visit. It is so huge and if you have time take food with you and a good book and just chill in there. It totally doesn’t feel like city, but you can see the skyline through the trees.
Take the first day after arriving to just orientate yourself and feel the vibe of the city. Melbourne is not big so perfect for going a lot by foot and exploring the city and their cute restaurants and shops.
There is a lot to see and probably for everyone something they enjoy and are interested in. It is a gallery, what else to say?!
If you want to be productive or just want to chill in front of the building to listen to some musicians than definetly check out State Library. For every booknerd a must!
Have a great time in Melbourne saving money. 😀
