We stayed in Brisbane for a week and checked everything out and this post has an amazing overview over the best things to do in Brisbane.
Take a stroll to the Brisbane sign and pose in front of it! Streets Beach and the Brisbane Wheel are not far away so you can connect those things perfectly in a walk.
There is a new plateau on the river where you can walk and enjoy the view of the beautiful villas in the new farm. But the walk is completely in the sun so don’t forget your sunprodection!
On the foot of mount coot-tha is a free planetarium which you should check out if you are there. It is not that big but worth a short visit if you are in this area.
Also on the foot of mount coot-tha is the botanical garden, which is really beautiful and a must visit! They have a beautiful zen garden and a lot of cute ponts!
Very famous is the lone pine koala centre! This is a sanctuary where you can stroke koalas and take pictures with them. It costs extra but is still a cute souvenir.
You can see the city from a lookout in the city! Beautiful view especially in the evening!
On the Brisbane river are public transport the ferries like the ones in Sydney, but there are also river cruises with evening lunch or a drink.
Between streets beach and brisbane sign there is the brisbane wheel where you can also have a good view of brisbane and the wheel turns for 8 times … so a lot for your money.
Is famous for its good view on the river and the good food hot spots! Yummy food everywhere you look and the most famous brewery in brisbane “felons”.
Streets beach is a free lagoon on the side of the river and the perfect place to go with your kids and family! There are also a lot of great places to eat and perfect to relax in the evening.
On mount coot-tha you have the best view in the city but it is a little more far away so you have to take a bus. But the view is worth the trip!
If you have a enough time and where not in gold coast before then take a daytrip to gold coast by train and chill on the beach!
