Brisbane is an amazing city for living there! Many backpackers don’t like Brisbane that much because you can’t go a lot there, but we loved it and hope that this post will help you a lot!
For your first day it is best to go and explore the city! There are a lot of great food spots and amazing alleys to wander around and try to orientate yourself! In the evening we would highly recommend checking out Brisbane wharf and enjoy a cold beer from felons and maybe grab a bite from one of the surrounding restaurants on this lovely wharf! Best place to enjoy the evening with a lot people around and amazing vibes!
Start of the day with a Bus Trip to Mount Coot-tha. Only 30 min. away by bus! By mount coot-tha there is a lot to do: Mount Coot-tha Lookout, Planetarium and the amazing botanical garden! A must do is the mount coot-tha Lookout with a stunning view over the city and a cafe/restaurant as well!
On the last full day you will go and stroke a koala at “Lone pine koala centre”. There are not only koalas but also a lot more of Australia’s native animals to look at! But of course the highlight is holding a koala and stroking it!
On your last evening in Brisbane it is time to check out streets, beaches and the Brisbane sign and take pictures with it. If you want to see Brisbane from the Brisbane wheel out, then it will be the perfect time for that. Streets beach is Brisbane’s lagoon for cooling down on hot days! (Although locals told me that they don’t go swimming there…) Streets beach also has great opportunities to go and get food but it is one the more expensive side.
So that was it for this post about the 3 Day Brisbane Itinerary!
